Carina & Logan, Likely

Last time: The families of Volta decided to uproot everyone, but the first family to move away was Logan's. As per my own specifications, I won't be updating on Eleanor anymore. Unless something interesting happens to Brayden and Daisy.
~Carina Lykeli~

It was actually a pretty uneventful week at the Gresham residence. Rushton worked, Taylor went to school, and Carina avoided the topic of marriage.

Mostly by playing rough with her boyfriend.

She's not at all sorry.

Carina invited her niece over for a nice game of chess.

And in spite of their inability to afford private school, Rushton kept rolling the want.

Did you guys forget that Carina was a witch? I did.

While Carina dallies about, Rushton and Taylor do their best to woo the headmaster.

Carina :3

Aww, you guys are qt.

Yes, that's definitely a Rushton trait.
~Logan Lykeli~

Logan sort of regretted volunteering to scout out a new place for his ever growing extended family to live. He had to find a place that was out of the way, small, so as to prevent external growth, and secluded. Apparently grandma Bekah had plans where their legacy was concerned.
Logan did appreciate the opportunity to escape his family, if only for a week.

The first task had been to re-wire the cabin that was already in the middle of nowhere. After that, he and Lala got all the furniture moved in.

Unforunately, in the move, Lavender ran away. Logan was nearly inconsolable. Lala found this cat, whom she dubbed Legolas.

Logan invited everyone who would be moving here to the house, so that they could scout the area. After all, they are a single unit. Or so his mother likes to believe.

Logan knew his mother would be thrilled by this development.

If it's at all possible, this cat is more spoiled than Lavender.

Before his parents can show up and turn it into some big family affair, Logan and Lala get married.

If we're being honest, Lala is a little worried about how fast things are moving. But, being a family sim, she's okay with it.

Literally me. Minus the pregnancy.

Logan arrives home from work just in time to catch the birth of his child.

It's a girl. Logan seems a little depressed about this.

But oh well! Her name is Lily.

At least he's not going to completely hate her for not being a boy (frankly, I'm glad it's a girl. Maybe we can cut down Lykeli households yet again.)

Staring contest!
(Legolas won)

April's husband comes by pretty regularly. This is a family dominated by women, and being the sim incarnation of a Hindu god of destruction (as well as life) can't be easy.

Before I knew it, it was time for Lily to become a toddler.

She's cute, but this worries me. I can't imagine these features aging well.

Oh Lala.

Logan and Lala had to hire a nanny because they need both pay checks. They were still pretty poor when they moved out of Nanette's. They took out a lot of loans.

Lily discovers Legolas.

Just because :3
